Fees rise for complaints adjudication
A 13.3% rise has been announced in the adjudicators’ daily fee rate charged to Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service (ISCAS) members – representing a majority of private providers.
It increases from £600 to £680 from 1 October 2023. ISCAS said all other charges would remain unchanged.
The fee is for eight hours of the adjudicator’s time to review and assess a private patient’s complaint about a doctor, clinic or hospital.
