Cleveland Clinic opens cancer centre in United Arab Emirates

Cleveland Clinic has opened a new cancer facility at its Abu Dhabi hospital in the United Arab Emirates.

It said the 205,000 square foot unit, the Fatima bint Mubarak Center, would help eliminate the need for patients to travel abroad for their treatment and care.

Cancer is the third most common cause of death in the UAE and the primary reason patients travel out of the region for care.
