Covid cancels major private care conference
Plans for a major meeting of private hospital representatives next week have been abandoned.
The Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN) was geared up to run its annual summit at the Royal College of Physicians in London on Tuesday 7 December.
But a spokesman told Independent Practitioner Today that it had been decided to call off the conference following news about the Omicron variant of Covid-19 and the various steps that the Government has taken in response.
It is hoped to rearrange the event in the Spring of 2022.
The summit next week had attracted key speakers and Independent Practitioner Today will bring you any relevant news, planned to be released at the event, in our digital issue news section and online on 4 January.
