Harley St cannabis centre gets green light

Harley Street’s new cannabis treatment centre, Sapphire Medical Clinic, has got the green light from the Care Quality Commission. It becomes the first to receive official approval from the regulator to operate.

Managing director and academic lead Dr Mikael Sodergren said: ‘We can now be the lifeline for GPs who are not permitted to prescribe themselves but who think their patients could benefit from medical cannabis.
