It’s time to cast away the errors

There is a unique museum in Sweden which showcases products and services that flopped with the public. 

From Betamax video recorders to a short-lived Donald Trump board game, visitors to the Museum of Failure can relive, puzzle and occasionally wonder at the innovations that seemed a good idea at the time. 

But rather than mock failure, the museum’s creator, Dr Samuel West, wants to celebrate it. A message on the museum website reads: ‘It is in the failures we find the interesting stories that we can learn from’.

Here are five errors that I regularly see in independent practice.
