One of the largest private healthcare providers has found there has been a 12% rise in ‘self-pay’ revenue from 2016 to 2017.
It is therefore reasonable to assume that these figures reflect a similar trend across all private services offered by private doctors.
Patients, unrestrained by the restrictions imposed by medical insurance companies, are able to choose their own private medical provider.
With a potentially growing self-pay market, it becomes even more important that clinics’ services are well publicised to attract new clients. And one of the best ways of appealing to patients is to focus on the high-quality, successful ‘halo’ services that are on offer.
Hopefully, these will encourage the higher-volume services that contribute most to the bottom line.
Car manufacturers have been doing this for decades.
