‘All-encompassing’ cancer centre for Liverpool

Proton Partners International has won formal planning permission to build its third oncology centre in England. The £35m cancer treatment centre is to be at the new £1bn Paddington Village, part of Knowledge Quarter Liverpool.

It will provide an ‘all-encompassing cancer service for patients’, offering proton beam therapy. Conventional treatments are expected next year and proton beam therapy in 2019.
