And the dawning of the internet age has meant that the marketing of products and services from vendors to purchasers is now very, very easy.

People have more choice than ever before. And that means free samples of products abound as businesses feel the competition.

But one major downside of this is being seduced by the concept of free. Always looking for a free way of getting what you want – free software, for example.
