What should I do with this gripe?
Q I work as a consultant plastic surgeon. I recently carried out a breast augmentation on a 27-year-old woman. She seemed very happy about my care and the outcome and did not express any concerns at the time.
However, today I received a letter from the GMC which stated that the patient has made a complaint that she was not happy with the way I spoke to her.
